Layout Design and Production Files of 3 Interior Panels

Unlike typical artistic collaborations, this project for the Seattle Design Festival stands as a unique convergence of diverse talents - Architects Without Borders, Shelf Life Stories, Wa Na Wari, local musician Yirim Seck and local artist Perri Rhoden. The installation delves into a darker chapter of the Seattle Central District’s history that continues to reverberate today; discriminatory housing policies of redlining and subsequent gentrification, told through the voices of today's residents.

This collaborative project asks visitors to confront uncomfortable truths, encouraging a collective reckoning with Seattle's past to pave a more equitable future.
